Ireland // #theerringtonsabroad

May 27, 2015

After a missed flight, and extra night at JFK, and lots of extra money later, we finally made it to Ireland! Oh, how we loved Ireland. Everyone there is so friendly and makes you feel so welcomed!

I could say a whole lot about our trip, but I won’t bore you with the details, I’ll let the images do the talking! ALSO I am so proud of the guy I get to call my husband! He took so many of these images with my digital camera while I shot film, and he rocked it!

PS. Be sure to get all the way to the bottom of this post to see our video!

Co. Dublin // Dublin

Trinity College // Dublin

Brazen Head // The oldest bar in Ireland // Dublin

Hill View House B&B // Ennis, Co. Clare

we met Buster, the whole reason we chose this B&B was because of all the animals they had on their farm!

Aran Islands, Co. Clare

Dusty aka Sandy is the friendly Dolphin who has been visiting the Aran Islands for almost 10 years. She comes in and greets all the boats that come in to the island and she swims with the locals!

We rode bikes for a few hours all around the island, it’s crazy that the whole island was filled with these stone walls!

on our boat ride back to the mainland the ferry took us right under the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher. These are some of my favorite images.

When in Ireland, it’s only appropriate to pretend we’re in Westeros. The newest clan, #targerringtons

We drove the Ring of Kerry on our third day in Ireland. Even on such a rainy day the views were just amazing! Probably the favorite thing we did while in Ireland. We met the cutest little animal family, Holly the goat, her donkey brother + Jack Russell brother who rode on donkeys back!

So many baby animals! Every time we saw a little lamb I would have Tyler pull over so I could try and hold one. As you can see from the picture, they just ran away 🙁

One of my favorite views in Ireland! So beautiful!

One of the many shots Tyler took 🙂 So proud of him and his new found camera skills!

Blarney Castle // NO, we did not kiss the Blarney Stone. We were told by lots of people that the locals go there when they are drunk and pee on the stone and think it’s funny because then all the tourists kiss it. No thank you!

FINALLY! We got to get up close to some baby lambs + goats! We even got to feed them their bottles at Leahy’s open farm.

Wicklow Mountain National Park, Co. Wicklow // If you’ve seen the movie PS. I Love You, you may recognize this place, they shot scenes from the movie here!

On top of the beautiful Guinness Lake! It was unbelievably windy up here (as you’ll see from Ty’s wind blown hair!) – such stunning, stunning views!

Love this guy 🙂

I can’t wait til I get my film scans back from our trip and share those with you guys! Be sure to check out our video below!
