We’re looking to add a second Associate Photographer to the AEP team. Over the last few years we have had the honor of photographing so many incredible couples. Many of which we wouldn’t have otherwise been able to without our awesome associate photographer Sarah! We are looking to bring on a second associate photographer to take on a few extra weddings each year for us. This can range anywhere between 5-15, depending on our availability.
Here’s what we’re looking for in a photographer!
A fun personality: We believe having a great connection with our couples is so important, and having a fun, outgoing, kind personality plays a big role in this. The ability to laugh with each other, make friends with our couples, and make them feel comfortable with you is an absolute must! So, if you have a love for love, weddings, people and can have fun no matter what the situation, you’ll fit right in!
Pro gear: Although gear is not everything when it comes to good photography, it does play a big part in having the ability to shoot in any kind of lighting situation. We need to have the ability to shoot low lit ceremonies without flash, or sometimes some super harsh lighting, and in order to do this you must have professional quality gear (Mark iii or higher and L series lenses). If you don’t have this set up, but we see potential in your work, you must be willing to upgrade to this set up of professional quality gear.
Ability to travel: We shoot weddings in PA, NJ, NY, DE and beyond (sometimes).
A good eye: You must have a good eye for photography. We are willing to bring you along with weddings and engagement sessions to learn how we shoot and work with our couples, but having a good eye for documenting not only the pretty details but all the moments in between is a must. If you are ready to learn from us, we’re ready to teach you how we shoot, edit and handle the craziness that is a wedding day.
