This month marks one whole year since I went full time pursuing my photography as a career and I can’t believe how far things have come.
Last year due to unfortunate circumstances with my then full time job as an administrative assistant I was able to take the leap to full time photography. Looking back at this time last year, I have to say maybe this wasn’t so unfortunate after all. A blessing in disguise.
I never made the announcement that I was pursing my career as a wedding photographer full time because to be honest, I was scared. I was worried that if I made the announcement I would jinx myself somehow. I thought, what if I make this big announcement about going full time and then we can’t afford it and I have to go back to work a day job? I had a lot of self doubt and thought there is no way I am good enough to do this! But with the encouragement from my wonderful husband and YOU GUYS, my amazing couples – it was possible!
I’m only able to do this because of you guys, my fans + rad couples who put their full trust in me to capture one of the important day of their lives! To you I am forever grateful.
I still can’t believe that this is what I am able to do for a living. Sure sometimes things get crazy and busy, but there’s never a day that this feels like a job. It’s not something I feel like I HAVE to do, it’s something I GET to do.
I can’t wait to see where 2015 brings me and my business and to see what 2016 has in store. I can’t wait to work with 15+ amazing couples this year and for those of you I have yet to meet, I can’t wait to be a part of your special day!
Ya’ make me wanna dance like in this video.

Emma & Carolyn Wedding Photos at Wilkinweir There is something undeniably magical about an estate garden wedding in late summer. This wedding at Welkinweir Estate in Pottstown, Pennsylvania was all of […]

There are certain venues that naturally elevate a wedding day, and The Lucy by Cescaphe is one of them. Located on Broad Street in the heart of Center City, The Lucy blends European-inspired architecture with modern polish. It feels refined without being rigid. Architectural without overpowering the people in it. For couples planning a black-tie […]
